SGAPI has an extensive track record in the Water Supply and Sanitation sectors having provided consulting services in projects comprising all the possible infrastructures that constitute a water supply or a sanitation system. In both this sectors our services range from a Master Plan and Feasibility Study to the Detailed Design and Construction Supervision activities. We have provided also Technical Assistance and Contract Management services to the Client as well as Capacity Building and Training aimed to develop and increase its knowledge, capabilities and capacities.

In the Water Supply field we have completed several projects that include the construction of intake elements, water treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and water tanks, water mains and distribution networks. Great emphasis has been given to interventions in developing countries aimed to increase the access to and the quality of water for the local population. In the Water Supply sector we have also provided advanced services and analysis in the assessment and evaluation of existing systems, the leakage detection and related control measures with the scope to reduce the wastes and the non-revenue water. A recently performed project in this field regards the city of Pune (3 million inhabitants).

In the Sanitation sector we have completed several projects that start from the definition of a Master Plan for drainage and wastewater and arrive to the construction of rainwater and wastewater networks, wastewater treatment plants and discharge/outlet infrastructures.

Many of our projects have been performed in developing countries with the scope of improving the quality of life, upgrading the level of infrastructures in cities and rural communities, and reducing the possibilities of development and transmission of diseases.
